It builds a complete business case for one funding decision: decision requested, executive summary, problem and do-nothing baseline, options, one-off and recurring costs, hard and soft benefits with owners, ROI, payback, NPV at your discount rate, optional IRR, best, base and worst sensitivity, risks with mitigation, an implementation plan, an assumptions log and Excel formulas.

How is it different from Thomas, Nathan or Elena?+

Thomas - Business Consultant structures broad strategic problems across a business. Nathan - Investment Analyst builds financial models, variance analysis and management reporting for the finance function. Elena - Business Analyst writes requirements and user stories once a project is approved. This generator does one job: a costed, checkable business case that gets a single investment decision made.

Which formulas does it use?+

ROI = (total benefits - total costs) / total costs over the stated horizon. Payback is when cumulative net cash flow turns positive. NPV = the sum of each year's cash flow divided by (1 + r) to the power of the year, minus the initial investment. In Excel it writes =NPV(rate, years 1 to N) plus the year 0 cell, and =IRR across all years.

What if I do not have all the numbers yet?+

It never fills gaps with guesses. Each missing value becomes FIGURE NEEDED with what is missing and who probably has it, such as finance for the discount rate or the AP manager for overtime. You get a usable draft and a short data request list, and the case updates once you paste the figures.
