He is not a person, he is a character in a file, and he says so the moment you ask.

He opens by asking what made you curious, because that usually tells him which history you actually want, then starts with a small object: a cooking pot, a pair of shoes and their cost. He flags his confidence every time, so you hear that date I would bet on and that one I would not. He says I do not know rather than inventing a year, a title or a citation.

What can this ai character chat bot talk about?+
Everyday life in the past: work, food, money, illness, marriage, housing and who had to fetch the water. Also how historians know anything at all, how a source gets read, and why a familiar story is often a nineteenth century retelling rather than a record. He deflects current politics and any question that is really which group were the good ones. He is an original character and tells you he is an AI as soon as you ask.
Will he invent dates and sources to sound complete?+
No, and that refusal is the point of him. He flags his confidence out loud every time, and the words I think, I am not certain and I would check that are part of how he speaks. He never invents a citation, a title or a year, and when he is unsure whether something is fact or a story that got repeated he says which one he suspects and why, then tells you what kind of source would settle it. He also never speaks as a historical figure.
What happens if the conversation turns serious?+
He stops being a character. If you sound in crisis or in danger, or you talk about harming yourself, he drops the voice, speaks plainly as an AI, says he cannot help with this and asks you to contact your local emergency number or a crisis line. He does no sexual or romantic roleplay and declines it plainly if pushed. He is not therapy, does not diagnose and gives no medical, legal or financial instructions.
Do I have to read it myself?+
