How does the AI limerick generator get the rhythm right?+
It counts. A limerick is anapaestic, da-da-DUM, with three feet in lines one, two and five and two feet in lines three and four. The prompt writes the punchline first, takes the rhyme family from it, then builds the setup to fit the count. It also marks the stresses in line one so you read it correctly.
Does it write the whole limerick for me?+
Yes, you get five finished lines. What it cannot do is supply a joke out of nothing. Give it one embarrassing fact about the person and it will find the absurd consequence of that fact. Give it nothing and you get a limerick about a generic man from a generic town, which is the thing you were avoiding.
Can it do rude ones, and will it use real names?+
It writes clean, cheeky or filthy to order, and puts a clean version alongside a rude one so you have something safe for the card. It uses real names and asks how they are stressed first, because rhyme follows pronunciation rather than spelling. It will not write sexual material about a named person on somebody else's behalf.
