It is built for fandom, not for literary craft. Instead of arcs and internal contradiction you get what an OC sheet actually needs: personality as behaviour, tropes, a relationship map with the canon cast, ship dynamics, a power ceiling, and a fit check that catches anything contradicting the world you are writing into.
Will it stop my OC being a Mary Sue?+
It works on the real cause, which is not competence but competence without consequence. It gives your OC a stated ceiling, an arena where the canon cast is plainly better, and at least one canon character who dislikes them for a fair reason. You decide how much of that you keep, and it tells you what you are risking.
Does it write the story or the fic as well?+
No. It stops at the sheet. You get the profile, the behaviour, the relationships, the ships, the power ceiling and the fit check, and that is where it ends. It will not draft chapters, plan a plot or write scenes, so the character is ready when you sit down, but the writing stays yours.
