It depends on the background behind the object. Flat or repeating textures (sky, grass, a plain wall) work well with Content-Aware Fill or Magic Eraser. Complex backgrounds with edges, patterns or people nearby usually need Generative Fill or manual clone stamp work. The coach looks at your screenshot and tells you which applies before you start.
Can it help remove a person from a photo, not just an object?+
Yes, the selection and fill process is the same, though people usually cast shadows and overlap other elements, so the coach walks through selecting the shadow separately and checking the rebuilt area against nearby texture before you call it finished.
My removal left a smear or a repeated pattern. What now?+
Send a screenshot of the result and it diagnoses the specific failure — usually the selection was too tight or the sample area was too close — and gives you the fix: widen the selection, sample from a different area, or switch tools entirely if the first one wasn't built for this kind of background.
