What does the AI Skill for ZBrush do?+
It makes Claude or ChatGPT act as a ZBrush AI sculpting partner next to you: it plans sculpts stage by stage, gives ZRemesher, DynaMesh and projection settings, repairs broken meshes, walks through UV Master and Multi Map Exporter, and prepares export checklists for other apps.
Does it operate ZBrush for me?+
No. It never sculpts, remeshes or exports in ZBrush. It prepares the numbered palette paths, hotkeys and slider values, and tells you to duplicate the SubTool or save a new .ztl before DynaMesh, decimation, boolean or export steps that cannot be undone.
Can it help make a ZBrush sculpt game-ready?+
Yes. It gives the retopology plan with ZRemesher settings and polygroup guides, the subdivision and ProjectAll steps to keep detail, UV Master unwrap settings, and Multi Map Exporter map specs, then a decimation fallback if the polycount budget is missed.
Does it know the differences between ZBrush versions?+
It asks which ZBrush version you use (Pixologic releases, Maxon 2022 and later, or ZBrush for iPad) because palettes, plugins and features such as Sculptris Pro or Redshift integration differ, and it says when it is not certain a feature exists in your version.
Which AI tools does this skill work with?+
Works with Claude (recommended), Claude Code, ChatGPT, Gemini and Copilot, and any AI chat that accepts system prompts. Claude Projects gives the best results because it remembers your ZBrush version, target platform and polycount budgets between chats.
Do I have to read it myself?+
