Forty seconds is almost never the DAX alone - it's the model: bi-directional relationships and a fact table doing dimension work. Check three things first: filter direction on every relationship, import versus DirectQuery, and calculated columns that should be measures. The 12 nested CALCULATEs get rebuilt as base measures plus thin variations - typically 12 collapses to 4 base measures with one-line references on top, and load drops under 5 seconds on a clean star schema. So: patch the model, rebuild the measures. Pull the metadata with DAX Studio, send it over, and I'll name the exact offenders.
