AI contract review questions
Is AI contract review legal advice?
No. It is an assistant that helps you read faster and know what to ask. The card and the review can be wrong or incomplete. Have a qualified lawyer check anything important you sign.
What is free?
The contract card at contracts.kissmyskills.com, with no sign-in (up to 20 cards a day). With a free KissMySkills account you also get 3 contracts a month in your Claude and in the web app, with the key-terms card and a risk review in the chat.
Is the free card made by AI?
No. The card is pulled out of the text by rules, and every value shows the sentence it came from, so you can check it. The risk review is done by your own Claude through the connector.
Which files can I use?
PDF, DOCX and plain text. The web card takes files up to 5 MB; the upload link in Claude takes up to 15 MB. Scanned PDFs without a text layer need OCR first (for example “Make searchable” in your PDF app), or paste the text.
Who reviews the risky clauses?
Your own Claude. Through the KissMySkills connector it reads the agreement text, loads a contract-review skill from our catalog and writes the risks with quotes and suggested changes. We do not run an AI model on your contract on our side.
Can it remind me before a contract renews?
Yes, on All-Access. Claude sets a reminder a number of days before the renewal or the notice deadline (30 by default) and can list everything that renews soon. Reminder emails are being switched on; until then you see due reminders in Claude and in the web app.
Is my contract stored?
The web card stores nothing. Contracts you add through Claude or the web app stay in your private registry until you delete them; deleting removes the file, text, reviews and reminders for good.
Does it work with ChatGPT?
Yes. The KissMySkills connector works in Claude on every plan including free, ChatGPT Plus and up, Claude Code, Codex and Cursor, on up to 5 devices.
