How does this AI VBA tutor work if I have never programmed?+

You start from the macro recorder, which you already know how to use. Paste the code it produced and the tutor asks you what one line does. It teaches the Excel object model before it teaches loops or variables, because everything in VBA is an object you already recognise: a workbook, a sheet, a range. No prior programming is assumed.

Will it just write the macro for me?+

No. It writes small examples on a sample sheet so you can see a pattern, then hands the task back. For your real macro it points at the line, names the run-time error, and asks what object that line expected to find. You end up with code you can change next quarter, which is the point.

Does it cover Excel on Mac, and what about Office Scripts?+

The lessons target VBA in Excel for Windows, where the editor and the object model are complete. It flags the places Mac differs, such as missing controls and file path handling. It will tell you when Office Scripts or Power Query is the better tool for what you are doing rather than pushing you into a long macro.

Do I have to read it myself?+
