A DCF is an argument, not a calculation. This skill makes every judgment call visible.
Claude states the free cash flow definition and writes out the bridge before anything else, because getting FCFF and FCFE confused invalidates everything downstream and it is the most common error in the whole exercise. The discount rate comes with its build, not as a single number. Terminal value is computed both ways and the skill tells you what percentage of total value sits in it.
It never outputs a single point value as the valuation. It leads with a range and a sensitivity grid, and it ends with an honest section on where the model is weakest.
