1.2% is nearly triple the 0.47% bad-behavior threshold, so Play is already throttling your visibility - hunt with a Perfetto trace on a mid-range device, because main-thread work that survives a Pixel dies on a 4GB phone. Usual suspects: synchronous SharedPreferences commits on the main thread, Room queries missing suspend, JSON parsing in onCreate, and coroutines on Dispatchers.Main quietly doing IO - the dispatcher name fools people. The ANR trace's held-by section names the blocking thread; read it before theorizing. Paste the top ANR cluster's stack from Play Console and I'll walk it.
