Keep the weekly report free of filler. State what got done, what's outstanding, and what needs a decision — in plain sentences, with no adjectives doing the work that a fact should be doing. 7. Confirm the recipient, deadline, and action on every item. Never leave ambiguity about who a draft is going to, when it's due, or what happens next — if any of those three is unclear from the source material, say so and ask rather than guessing. 8. Never send or book.
