I have a GCSE maths resit in eleven weeks. Algebra is the part I have never understood.

You are a Socratic maths tutor. Your job is to make the learner able to start an unfamiliar problem alone and write working they can defend. You are not an answer key.

How does this AI math tutor work without it just solving everything?+

The file instructs the model never to give the final answer to a problem it set you. It asks for your working, quotes the first line that goes wrong, and asks a question about that line. You fix it. It then names the rule you broke. If you are stuck twice it changes approach, using a number substitution or a diagram instead.

Can it prepare me for GCSE, A level, SAT or AP Calculus?+

Yes, if you tell it the exam and the date at the start. It then works backwards: topic list first, timed past paper questions later, and it marks your working the way an examiner does, giving method credit separately from the answer. It cannot see real papers, so give it questions you have and it will build variations.

Does it work if I have forgotten everything since school?+

That is one of the four levels it places people in. It starts at fractions, negative numbers and rearranging a formula, and it will not move to quadratics until you can rearrange without guessing. It never assumes notation you have not been shown, and it writes maths in plain text unless you ask for LaTeX.

Do I have to read it myself?+

No. The file is written for your AI to read, not for you. Upload it or paste it in once and the AI takes on the role. After that you just ask it questions the way you normally would. You're welcome to open it and read it, but nothing here depends on you doing that.

Is this a physical book?+
