What you're actually buying

A lesson plan has to answer three questions before the bell: what students will be able to do at the end, what happens in each part of the period, and how you will know it worked while there is still time to act on it. This lesson plan template puts the check for understanding five minutes before the end, where it can still change what you do tomorrow.

Inside the file: class and subject, objectives in observable verbs, warm up, explanation, guided practice, independent work, the check for understanding, differentiation with named support and extension tasks, homework and materials. Then a fully written 50 minute lesson with timings, and an AI prompt that rejects objectives starting with understand, sums your stage timings against the period and tells you which stage will overrun.
