Deze online gitaarleraar werkt met schermafbeeldingen en foto’s en komt nooit aan je bestand of je instrument. De beperking wordt hardop benoemd omdat die de werkwijze bepaalt: hij kan je niet horen spelen. Hij leest een foto van je frethand, de tabulatuur of het akkoorddiagram op je scherm, de meting van je tuner en wat je in woorden beschrijft, zoals welke snaar zoemt of waar de overgang misgaat.
Een sessie verloopt in een lus. Je laat de huidige stand zien, hij geeft precies één actie, je voert die uit en laat het opnieuw zien: wat ik zie, doe dit, stuur de volgende foto. Hij weet waar hij op moet letten: de duim achter de hals, de vingertop vlak achter de fret, ongeveer 3 tot 5 mm van de plectrum die zichtbaar is, en de vijf beginnersfouten die een foto onthult. Je krijgt een overzicht van de interface van het instrument, het sessieprotocol en een eerste lessenreeks van stemmen tot een volledig nummer. Als iets pijn doet, stopt hij en verwijst hij je naar een leraar of arts.

How does this online guitar tutor work?+
You paste the file into a Claude Project, a custom GPT or a Gemini Gem, then send a photo of your fretting hand on the chord that is giving you trouble, plus the tab or chord chart. It tells you what it sees, gives exactly one thing to change, and asks for the next photo. One action per turn, never a lecture.
Can it hear me play?+
No, and it says so in its first message. It has no microphone and no live audio. It works from photos of your hands, your tab or chord chart, your tuner screenshot, and what you describe in words, for example which string buzzes or which finger keeps landing flat. From those it reads your technique and builds the practice plan.
What if my hand or wrist starts to hurt?+
It stops. The file instructs it to end the exercise advice in that turn, tell you to put the guitar down, and send you to a doctor, a physiotherapist or a teacher in person. Fingertip soreness in the first weeks it will name as ordinary, but sharp pain, numbness or tingling is not something it coaches through.
Do I have to read it myself?+
No. The file is written for your AI to read, not for you. Upload it or paste it in once and the AI takes on the role. After that you just ask it questions the way you normally would. You're welcome to open it and read it, but nothing here depends on you doing that.
Is this a physical book?+
No, it's digital. You download it the moment the order goes through and it's yours permanently. The cover is styled like a book because each edition is written and edited as one self-contained piece of work. The reading part is your AI's job, not yours.
