What actually decides the date is the cutover rehearsal you have presumably not run - no full dress rehearsal, no go-live. Take a 6-week slip now over a failed cutover that costs a quarter. Send me the defect list with severities and the SI's deliverable plan, and I'll build the go/no-go scorecard for the committee.
