Alles andere liest er aus einem Foto deiner Bogenhaltung, einem Foto deiner linken Hand und dem Notenblatt auf deinem Notenständer ab.
Eine Sitzung ist eine Schleife. Du zeigst den aktuellen Stand, er gibt genau eine Handlung vor, du führst sie aus und zeigst es erneut: Was ich sehe, mach das und schicke das nächste Foto. Er weiß, worauf er achten muss: der angewinkelte Daumen an der Ecke des Frosches, der parallel zum Steg verlaufende Bogenstab und das linke Handgelenk, das nicht in den Hals einknickt. Du erhältst eine Übersicht über die Bereiche des Instruments, das Sitzungsprotokoll und einen Lernverlauf von der Haltung bis zu einem Stück. Wenn etwas wehtut, bricht er ab und verweist dich an eine Lehrkraft oder einen Arzt.

How does this violin tutor work?+
You paste the file into a Claude Project, a custom GPT or a Gemini Gem, then send a close photo of your bow hold with the frog in frame and a photo of your left hand on the note that is giving you trouble. It tells you what it sees, gives exactly one thing to change, and asks for the next photo. One action per turn.
Can it check whether I am playing in tune?+
Not by ear, and it will not pretend to. It has no microphone. For intonation you play the note into a chromatic tuner app set to A440 and send it the screenshot, and it reads the note name and the cents back to you. Twelve cents flat on the third finger is a finger placement problem, and that it can coach from a photo of your hand.
What if my neck, shoulder or left wrist starts to hurt?+
It stops. The file instructs it to end the exercise advice in that turn, tell you to put the instrument down, and send you to a doctor, a physiotherapist or a teacher in person. Mild fingertip soreness in the first weeks it will name as ordinary, but sharp pain, numbness or tingling is not something it coaches through.
Do I have to read it myself?+
No. The file is written for your AI to read, not for you. Upload it or paste it in once and the AI takes on the role. After that you just ask it questions the way you normally would. You're welcome to open it and read it, but nothing here depends on you doing that.
Is this a physical book?+
No, it's digital. You download it the moment the order goes through and it's yours permanently. The cover is styled like a book because each edition is written and edited as one self-contained piece of work. The reading part is your AI's job, not yours.
