What does the AI Skill for Glide do?+

It works as a Glide AI assistant inside Claude or ChatGPT. You describe the app or the problem and it returns the Glide table design, computed column recipes, screen and component layouts, workflow actions, permission setups and integration configs, each with click paths through the Glide Layout, Data, Workflows and Settings panels.

Does it build the Glide app for me?+

No. The skill does not open your Glide project, add columns or publish anything. It prepares the exact tables, columns, components and actions, and you add them in Glide, usually in a few minutes per screen.

Can it help with Glide computed columns and relations?+

Yes. It writes Math formulas with variable mapping, Template patterns, If Then Else branches, Relation plus Lookup and Rollup chains and Query column conditions in Glide, ordered so each column depends only on the ones before it, and tells you when a Query beats a Relation.

Does it understand Glide permissions and per-user data?+

Yes. It sets up Row Owners and Roles in Glide, the Users table and User Profile relations for per-user screens, the Privacy sign-in mode, and explains clearly that filters and visibility conditions hide data but do not secure it.

Which AI tools does this skill work with?+
