Who is this ai grant writing skill for?+

Small organisations without a development office: one or two staff, a board that helps occasionally, and nobody whose job title includes fundraising. It covers the whole basic cycle at a practical level, funder shortlisting, letters of inquiry, narrative sections, budgets and reporting, rather than specialising in federal research awards or major institutional bids.

Can it find funders and check deadlines for me?+

It cannot search databases or open a website. No Candid, no grants portal, no 990 lookups, no live deadline checking. What it does is build your fit criteria, tell you where to look and what to look for in a funder's filings and guidelines, then test any funder you paste in against your geography, population, programme area and grant size before you spend a fortnight writing.

Will it invent statistics for my need statement?+

No. It will tell you exactly which figure you need, at what geographic level, and which sort of source usually holds it, then leave a marked placeholder until you supply it. Made up data in a need statement is the fastest way to lose a funder and a reputation. It will also not draft your audited financials, your board list or your charitable status letter.
