Instead of arcs and internal contradiction you get what an OC sheet actually needs: personality as behaviour, tropes, a relationship map with the canon cast, ship dynamics, a power ceiling, and a fit check that catches anything contradicting the world you are writing into.
Will it stop my OC being a Mary Sue?+
