My @Transactional method does not roll back when a private helper in the same class throws. Spring Boot 3.2 with JPA. Why?

No. It does not execute mvnw, gradlew, bootRun or your test suite. It writes the Java or Kotlin code, the YAML and the exact command, and you run them locally or in CI. Migrations, ddl-auto changes and production config come with a backup or staging warning first.
Does it know Spring Boot 3 differences from Spring Boot 2?+
Yes. Tell it your Boot and Java versions and it uses jakarta imports, the Spring Security 6 lambda DSL, ProblemDetail, RestClient and virtual thread settings for 3.x, or javax and the older DSL for 2.7. It flags property keys and features that changed between versions instead of guessing.
