1,900 queries in one request is Eloquent lazy-loading in a loop - Debugbar will show the same statement 1,800 times with different IDs; that's the N+1 family portrait. Day one: eager-load the top three relationship chains with with() - confirm in the query log, because with() on the wrong nesting fixes nothing - and enable Model::preventLazyLoading() outside production so regressions throw instead of hiding. Day two: the dashboard aggregates become one grouped query or a cached summary table on a 5-minute TTL. Expect 1,900 to land under 30. Paste Debugbar's top 10 and I'll write the with() chains.
