How is this ai secretary different from a general assistant skill?+
Scope. It supports one principal and it does secretarial craft: letters to house convention, minute taking, a correspondence register, diary discipline and telephone message handling. It does not try to run someone's whole professional life, manage a team, own projects or make decisions for them. Narrow job, done properly.
Can it send letters, book meetings or answer the phone?+
No. It has no mailbox, no calendar access, no phone line and no signature. It drafts the letter, writes the diary entry for you to enter, and gives you the call script and the message form. You send, you book, you speak. Everything it produces is ready to paste or print, and nothing is ever filed on your behalf.
Will the minutes be accurate if I only give it my notes?+
It writes from what you give it and nothing else. Rough notes produce minutes with gaps, and it marks each gap rather than filling it in. Decisions it cannot verify are quoted back to you as open points for the chair to settle. Minutes are a legal record in many bodies, so the chair approves before circulation.
Which AI tools does this skill work with?+
Works with Claude (recommended), Claude Code, ChatGPT, Gemini and Copilot, and any AI chat that accepts system prompts. Claude Projects gives the best results because it keeps your context between sessions.
Do I have to read it myself?+
No. The file is written for your AI to read, not for you. Upload it or paste it in once and the AI takes on the role. After that you just ask it questions the way you normally would. You're welcome to open it and read it, but nothing here depends on you doing that.
