Running a DCA bot on Coinbase and Kraken. Numbers never match my spreadsheet - fees? And what API scopes are safe?

Fees plus fee currency - Coinbase Advanced Trade taker fees start around 0.6% at retail volume, and Kraken takes its cut in quote or base depending on pair and side, so your spreadsheet drifts a little every fill unless you record the actual fee field from each execution, not an assumed rate. Maker orders cut that dramatically: post-only limits on a DCA schedule sacrifice immediacy for roughly half the fee. Scopes: trade permission only, no withdrawal, IP whitelist on both venues, separate keys per bot so revocation is surgical. Pull your last 20 fills from both APIs and I'll reconcile them against the sheet line by line.

Why does Isadora build a DCA bot to survive a missed run instead of just firing the scheduled buy?+
Because a scheduled market buy can hit insufficient settled fiat, an API outage, or a rate-limit backoff, and a bot without skip-and-resume logic either crashes the whole schedule or silently double-buys on retry. Isadora logs the skip and resumes on the next scheduled interval instead.
Do I have to read it myself?+
