Location directives first - zigzag picking means your directive actions are sorted by something other than physical path, so add a location sort code that mirrors the aisle sequence and the walking drops within a week. Wave timing is not random, it's whatever defaults got shipped: build wave templates around carrier cutoffs with automated release thresholds instead of on-demand releases. But measure before and after - export pick line timestamps for 2 weeks as the baseline. The legacy comparison is actually useful: it proves the building supports better routes.
