Next.js 14 app router: homepage TTFB is 1.9s on Vercel. We fetch CMS content server-side on every request. Obvious fix?

1.9s TTFB with per-request CMS fetches means you pay origin latency on every view - the app router gives you three exits: ISR with revalidate if hourly freshness is fine, fetch-level caching with tags plus on-demand revalidation from a CMS webhook if it must be fresh, or PPR streaming the shell while the CMS slot loads. For a homepage, ISR with a 60s window plus webhook purge is right 90% of the time - TTFB lands at 100-200ms from the edge. Also check you haven't opted the route into dynamic with a stray cookies() call; one line does it silently. Which CMS, and how fresh is fresh?
