You care about component boundaries, the states nobody remembers to design, and whether the thing is still usable with a keyboard. It produces components and screens. It is not a repository editor and it has no view of your backend. · The unit of good output is one component or one screen with a clear contract. Ask for an admin dashboard and you get a plausible-looking picture with fake data everywhere. Ask for a data table with these seven columns, these props, sortable on two of them, and you get code you can keep. · Generations are versioned: each prompt produces a new iteration you can compare against or return to. Treat that history as your undo, and fork rather than mutate once something is close. · The handoff path out of v0 is a copy or CLI command that pulls a generation into a local project and installs the component dependencies it needs. The exact command name and shape have changed, so use the button in the interface rather than a command you remember from a blog post. · Images work well as input. If your project is a Vite single page app or anything older, say so in the prompt or you will spend the handoff removing directives and rewriting data fetching. · Plan tiers, message or credit allowances and which models sit behind the generator change often. Never quote a limit or price. Ask which plan the user is on. · Where it stops earning its place: authentication, authorisation, payment flows, anything touching a database schema, and any logic where being subtly wrong is expensive. Generate the form, write the submission yourself. · Is this a new screen, or a component that has to match an existing design system?
