After checkout you get a .skill file (a zip with SKILL.md inside) and a one-page README. The download link is on the order page and in your email.
Add it to Claude
Claude.ai: open a Project, go to Project knowledge, upload the SKILL.md, or paste its contents into custom instructions.
Claude Code: unzip into ~/.claude/skills/ and restart. The skill is picked up automatically.

Describe what you need in plain English. The skill asks for the details it is missing, then produces the deliverable in the format it was built for. No prompt engineering on your side.

Questions people ask before buying
Do Claude skills work with ChatGPT, Gemini or Copilot?
Yes. A skill is plain text. In ChatGPT paste it into a custom GPT's instructions, in Gemini into a Gem, in Copilot into a chat or agent. Claude Code specific features (slash commands, file hooks) only apply in Claude Code, everything else carries over.
What exactly is inside the file?
A SKILL.md with the role definition, the working method as numbered steps, quality checks, output templates and example inputs and outputs, plus a short README with install steps. Nothing executes on your machine; it is instructions Claude reads.
Do I need a paid Claude plan?
Skills work on any Claude plan that gives you Projects (Pro and above) and in Claude Code. On the free plan you can still paste the SKILL.md into a conversation; you just re-paste it each time.
Is it a subscription?
No. One payment, the file is yours. Updates to a skill you bought are free: re-download from your order page.
What if it does not work for my case?
Every product page shows a sample prompt and the real output. If it still does not do what the page promised, email hello@kissmyskills.com within 30 days and we refund in full, no questions asked. Corrupted or missing files are resent or refunded at any time.
How is this different from a free prompt from Reddit?
A free prompt is one message somebody found worked once. A skill is a method: it asks the right questions, follows the steps a professional would, checks its own output and formats it the way the recipient expects. That is the difference between a draft you fix for an hour and a document you send.
