What does the AI Skill for Blender do?+
It turns Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini into a Blender AI assistant that plans modelling steps with hotkeys, writes Geometry Nodes and shader node chains, tunes Cycles and EEVEE render settings, debugs simulations, writes bpy scripts and prepares export settings for glTF, FBX, USD and STL.
Does it operate Blender for me?+
No. It never opens, edits, renders or exports anything in Blender. It prepares numbered steps with real menu names, node chains, values and scripts you paste into the Text Editor, and warns you before anything that overwrites a .blend file or applies modifiers.
Can it write Geometry Nodes setups for Blender?+
Yes. Describe the effect (scatter, array along a curve, growth, displacement) and it returns the Blender node tree as an ordered chain: node name, key inputs, connections, which inputs to expose on the modifier and the node people usually forget, like Realize Instances or Set Position.
Does it know Python scripting with bpy in Blender?+
Yes. It writes bpy scripts for the Blender Text Editor for batch renames, per-collection exports, material swaps or a small panel, prefers bpy.data over operators where possible, and tells you which parts depend on context, selection or your Blender version.
