What does the AI Skill for DocuSign do?+
It works as a DocuSign AI assistant inside Claude or ChatGPT. You describe the agreement, the signers and the outcome you want, and it delivers the envelope routing plan, template roles, anchor text, field formulas, Bulk Send CSV layout or API JSON, with numbered click paths through the DocuSign web app.
Does it operate DocuSign for me?+
No. The skill does not log in, send, void or sign envelopes in DocuSign. It prepares the recipient plan, field configuration, template design and code so you can execute in DocuSign quickly and correctly.
Can it help with DocuSign templates and anchor text?+
Yes. It designs template roles, generates anchor strings like /sig1/ for AutoPlace field placement, maps fields to each role and explains how to share and lock the DocuSign template so senders cannot edit fields.
Does it cover the DocuSign eSignature API and webhooks?+
Yes. It writes envelopeDefinition JSON with documents, signers and anchor-based tabs, recommends JWT or Authorization Code OAuth for your case and outlines a DocuSign Connect webhook setup. Code is marked as untested and should be tried in the demo environment first.
