What does this songwriting generator work on?+
The song, not the text. Form and section order, bar counts, where the hook lands, contrast between sections, prosody against the groove, and the reason a verse is falling flat. You bring the lines you already have and it tells you what the structure is doing to them and what to change before your next take.
Does it write the lyrics for me?+
No, and that is the point. It never hands you finished lines. It works on the shape of the song: where sections start and stop, how many bars each runs, which syllables of your own words are fighting the beat, and what to cut. If you want the lyric itself written, that is a different product.
I only have a voice memo, is that enough?+
Yes. Count the syllables you sang in each line and tap out where the emphasis fell, then give it that. It turns the memo into a syllable grid and a section map, so you have a frame with bar counts to write into instead of trying to remember what you hummed last Tuesday.
