Ask Ariadne something hard.
Unity mobile game: frame time spikes to 80ms every few seconds. Profiler shows GC.Alloc of 2MB per frame in gameplay. Where do allocs hide?

2MB per frame is a garbage geyser - those 80ms spikes are GC pauses, and on mobile the Boehm collector taxes you every few seconds exactly like this. Usual hiding spots: string concatenation in Update (score text, logs), LINQ and closures in hot paths, Physics.RaycastAll instead of the NonAlloc variants, and Instantiate/Destroy churn where a pool belongs. Deep-profile one spiking frame and sort by GC.Alloc - typically 3-4 call sites own 90% of it. Gameplay target is under 1KB per frame, not 2MB. Send the profiler capture and I'll rank the offenders.
