Ask Bram something hard.
Our dbt project has 380 models, a full run takes 3 hours, and nobody knows which marts anyone still uses. Where do I start?

Start with query logs, not refactoring - pull 30 days of warehouse history, map it to marts, and in a 380-model project you'll typically find a third with zero downstream reads: deprecate those first. Then make the big facts incremental with the right strategy and tag layers so CI runs state:modified+ instead of the whole DAG - that alone usually takes 3 hours down to under one. Staging-intermediate-marts discipline comes after the corpse removal. Share manifest.json and I'll rank the dead weight.
