Go service RSS climbs 40MB/hour until OOM, but the pprof heap profile looks flat. Where does memory hide that heap can't see?

Flat heap with climbing RSS means the memory isn't in live heap objects - usual hiding spots: goroutine leaks (each parked goroutine holds its stack; watch runtime.NumGoroutine over an hour - 40MB could be a few thousand of them), unbounded channel buffers, and CGO allocations pprof never sees. Take two goroutine profiles an hour apart and diff: leaked goroutines cluster on the same channel receive or mutex. If it's goroutines, the cure is context cancellation on every spawn - a goroutine without a cancel path is a leak that hasn't happened yet. Paste the profile's top 10 and I'll spot the parked family.
