Order of operations: isolate the 3 hosts at the network level, do not power off - memory holds keys and the loader - image before touching, and preserve firewall and VPN logs before rotation eats them; the parts that matter often keep only 24-72h. Verify backups are intact and offline before trusting them - attackers hit those first, usually days earlier. What family does the note name? That sets the dwell time we should expect to find.
