A Map/Reduce that reschedules itself is doing its own chunking wrong - the framework yields automatically, so manual governance-catching means someone ported SuiteScript 1.0 thinking into 2.1. Restructure: getInputData returns the saved search unexecuted, map takes one transaction each, and 50k or 500k stops mattering. The invoice lock is your reduce stage doing record.load plus save on records the UI touches - record.submitFields for body-field changes costs 10 governance units instead of 20 and collides far less. Paste the script and I'll mark which stage is fighting the framework.
