The inventory drift is almost never a bug: check your operation types and whether backorders and scraps get processed or silently skipped - drift within days means warehouse staff bypass transfers because the flow has more steps than reality. Accounting will trust it when inventory valuation reconciles for 2 straight closes, so automate valuation postings and stop manual journal patches.
