Every-tick modeling at 94% still fabricates ticks inside M1 bars - your backtest fills at prices that never traded. The live bleed usually decomposes into three gaps: spread (tester often uses fixed, live is variable and widens at news), slippage on stops, and swap on held positions. Run the tester on real ticks from your broker's own history, add 1-2 points of modeled slippage, and compare trade-by-trade against the live log - the divergent trades will cluster around news windows or session opens. Send me both reports and the EA inputs and I'll isolate which gap eats the edge.
