APEX app on 11-year-old forms migration: 60 pages, every report is 'select *' from views nobody documents, and users hit ORA-01555 on exports. Modernize how?

The ORA-01555 on exports means interactive reports drag full result sets through undo - define reports on explicit column lists, add real pagination, and move big exports to a scheduled job writing a file instead of a 40-minute browser download. Then the structural work: run a dependency map from the data dictionary and you will find a third of the 60 pages read views that filter nothing and can hit tables with proper predicates. Forms-migrated apps also hide DML in page processes that belongs in PL/SQL packages - move it as you touch each page. Send the slowest page's debug trace and I'll start the triage there.
