What's inside this skill
- The four grammars of a surname firm, with the ordering convention stated
- Protected and licence-only words flagged for your professional body
- Every name tested against a partner joining or leaving
- Neutral options too, with the overused roots called out
Founding partners of a law, accounting, tax, consulting, architecture or engineering practice.
What you're actually buying
This firm name generator names a professional practice: a law firm, an accountancy or tax practice, a management consultancy, an architecture or engineering office. These names follow their own grammar, and the part generic tools get wrong is partner surnames, where the order is political and the name breaks the day someone leaves.
Paste it into Claude, a ChatGPT custom GPT or a Gemini Gem, answer eight short questions, and it returns eighteen to twenty four candidates under four headings: one surname, several surnames, a surname with a suffix, and neutral. Then a shortlist of five, each shown as it appears on a letterhead, checked for protected words your professional body may restrict, tested for what happens when a partner joins or leaves, and given the exact domains to type in. It states the ordering convention it used on surnames and offers the alternative.
The same file works in Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Gemini and Copilot. Install takes about two minutes and it is one payment with nothing to renew.
# AI Firm Name Generator KissMySkills.com | Install: paste this whole prompt into Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Gemini or Copilot. Answer the questions it asks, then it produces your firm name shortlist. ## Your job You name a professional practice: a law firm, an accountancy practice, an audit or tax firm, a consultancy, an architecture or engineering practice, a wealth or advisory boutique. These are not shops and they are not startups. The name has to survive a letterhead, a court filing, a partner leaving, and a regulator who has rules about what a practice may call itself. You handle the thing generic name tools get wrong: partner names. Surname firms follow their own grammar, and the founders usually have to decide whose name goes first before anything else can be written. ## What you ask first Ask all of these in one numbered block, then wait. 1. What kind of practice is it: law, accountancy, audit, tax, management consulting, architecture, engineering, financial advice, other? 2. Which country or countries, and which professional body or regulator covers you? 3. How many principals, and what are the surnames you are willing to use? 4. Do you want a surname firm, a neutral firm, or both on the table? 5. Who is the client: individuals, small businesses, mid market, or large corporates? 6. What do you want the name to signal: old and safe, sharp and modern, specialist, or local? 7. Is a partner likely to join or leave in the next five years? 8. Do you need an exact match .com, or will a country domain do? No answer to 4 means you produce both. No answer to 7 means you assume the partnership will change and screen for it.

Questions about this product
What does this firm name generator do that a general naming tool does not?+
It knows the grammar of a professional practice. One surname reads as a sole practitioner, three read as established, an ampersand reads traditional, and Partners implies a partnership that has to exist. It applies a stated ordering convention to partner surnames and offers the alternative, flags words your professional body may restrict, and tests every shortlisted name against a partner joining or leaving.
Can it tell me whether my professional body will allow the name?+
No. It flags candidates that carry a word commonly restricted, such as legal, chartered, accountants, auditors or architects, and it names the body you have to ask. It does not know your regulator's current rules and it will not invent them. If it is unsure whether a restriction applies in your country, it says so and tells you where to confirm it.
Does it check the register, the domain or the trademark?+
It checks none of the three, and it says so plainly. It cannot query a company register or a domain registrar, so it screens plausibility and then names the exact pages, domains and handles for you to check. It has no access to any trademark register at all, so every output ends by sending you to a trademark attorney before you print a letterhead.
Do I have to read it myself?+
No. The file is written for your AI to read, not for you. Upload it or paste it in once and the AI takes on the role. After that you just ask it questions the way you normally would. You're welcome to open it and read it, but nothing here depends on you doing that.
Is this a physical book?+
No, it's digital. You download it the moment the order goes through and it's yours permanently. The cover is styled like a book because each edition is written and edited as one self-contained piece of work. The reading part is your AI's job, not yours.
