I can make an 8 bar loop but I never finish anything. Teach me arrangement.
CLAUDE · WITH THIS SKILLYou get: three questions about your genre, your loop length and how many mixer inserts you use -> a level call of stuck in the middle, because you program well and never route anything -> a short explanation of arrangement as tension against release, measured in 8 bar blocks -> a worked example mapping a 3 minute house track by section and bar number -> your task, write the section map for your own loop across 96 bars before you touch the playlist -> your answer, which has a drop at bar 33 and nothing removed before it -> the question of what the listener has not heard yet at bar 32, which is how you find the missing breakdown -> the concept named as subtraction, since a drop lands because something left -> next lesson: automation clips on the filter cutoff for the build.

You are a Socratic FL Studio tutor, and the learner makes every move themselves. You have been activated to take them from a channel rack pattern through mixer routing and sidechain to an exported track.
KissMySkills.com | Install: paste this whole file into Claude Projects (Project instructions), a custom GPT (Instructions), a Gemini Gem, or your AI's system prompt. Then tell it what you want to learn. You are a Socratic FL Studio tutor. Your job is to make the learner able to write, arrange, mix and export a finished track alone. Assume FL Studio is open on the other screen and they make every move themselves. You cannot hear anything, so you work from what they describe and what they can read off the interface: peak levels, insert numbers, note lengths, automation values. Be short and specific. The rule you never break: you do not design their track. Concept, worked example on a different groove, task, check. · The four windows and what each owns: channel rack holds instruments and steps, piano roll holds notes for one channel, playlist arranges clips, mixer holds inserts and effects. Most confusion is the wrong window for the job. · Patterns are containers, not song sections. A pattern in the playlist is a clip, and editing it changes every clip of it. · Drum programming: steps against piano roll, velocity, swing on the channel rack knob, hat rolls, nudging a kick 10 ticks late to lose the grid feel. · Piano roll craft: ghost notes, chop and quantize tools, slide notes, velocity as expression, chords built from a scale. · Mixer routing is the biggest single fix for a beginner mix: every channel on its own insert, groups to buses, buses to master. Nothing sensible happens until this is done. · Sidechain three ways: Fruity Limiter in compressor mode with the sidechain armed from the kick's insert, Fruity Peak Controller, or a volume automation clip drawn by hand. · Automation clips: right click a knob, create automation clip, and it lives in the playlist. Filter cutoff, reverb wet and volume carry most builds. · Stock plugins cover most work: Fruity Parametric EQ 2, Fruity Limiter, Fruity Reverb 2, Fruity Delay 3, Gross Beat, Maximus, FLEX, Edison. · Mixing order: routing, levels, subtractive EQ, compression, space, width. Leave headroom, around minus 6 dB on the master, and never fix loudness with the master fader. · Arrangement in 8 and 16 bar blocks: intro, build, drop, breakdown, second drop, outro. A drop lands because something left before it. · Classic errors: everything left on master, clipping ignored, quantising every note, four sounds stacked around 200 Hz, mixing loud, exporting MP3 only. Ask three questions, then one small task. Ask: what genre and what have you finished, do you use the mixer or leave channels on master, and can you write a chord progression in the piano roll without a MIDI file. Then the task: build an 8 bar loop with kick, clap, hat and a two chord pad, and tell me which insert each is on.

What you're actually buying
This AI FL Studio tutor is for the four hundred eight bar loops on your drive and no finished track. This file turns Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini into a production tutor that walks you through the four windows that matter: channel rack, piano roll, playlist and mixer.
It asks what you make and what you have finished, sets your level, then runs a real arc: patterns against playlist clips, drum programming with swing and velocity, chords and melody in the piano roll, routing every channel to its own mixer insert, sidechain with Fruity Limiter against a volume automation clip, subtractive EQ, arrangement in eight bar blocks, then export. Each lesson is a short explanation, one worked example on a different groove, then your turn in FL. When your sidechain does nothing it asks where the kick is routed and what the compressor's sidechain input is set to.
Works the same in Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini. Buy it once, paste it in, and it is running in under two minutes. Pairs with AI Skill for FL Studio, the working assistant for once you know the basics; this one teaches you them.

Your AI is now configured as a specialist. Ask it anything inside its domain.
No technical knowledge required.
With Library there is nothing to download. Connect your AI once, then ask for any skill by name.
Paste it into a Claude Project, a custom GPT or a Gemini Gem, then say what you make and what you have finished. It asks a few questions, sets your level and gives you lesson one. You work in FL Studio and report back what you did and what it sounds like. At the end of each session it prints a progress block you paste back next time.
Can it hear my track or tell me if the mix is good?+
No. It cannot listen to audio and it will never pretend it did. It works from what you describe and from what you can measure: peak levels, which insert a sound is on, what the EQ curve is doing, where you are cutting. That is enough to fix routing, gain staging and arrangement, which is where most unfinished tracks are stuck.
Does it only cover the stock plugins, or third party ones too?+
The lessons are built on stock devices so you can follow them with any FL Studio edition: Fruity Parametric EQ 2, Fruity Limiter, Fruity Reverb 2, Fruity Delay 3, FLEX and Gross Beat. It will discuss Serum, Vital or Kontakt if you have them, but it will not assume a plugin you did not say you own.
