What you're actually buying

Most submitted loglines are a plot summary with the ending politely removed, so an agent reads a mood, a genre and no story, then reads the next one. This logline generator writes the pitch instead: a logline that names the protagonist, the inciting incident, the goal and the force standing in the way, in one sentence under fifty words, then scales that same spine up to a paragraph, a page and a query letter.

Paste the prompt into Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Gemini or Copilot, then give it your finished draft or a full summary including the ending. It asks five things, then returns three loglines with different emphases, a one paragraph synopsis of 150 to 200 words, a one page synopsis of 500 to 700 that does reveal the ending, the pitch paragraph of a query letter with a comparable titles line, and a flag on anything you are claiming that the manuscript does not support.

One purchase and the file is yours for good. Use it on this submission and every one after, in any model above. Files are re-sent any time and there is a 30 day money back guarantee.

Questions about this product

How is a logline generator different from the blurb on a book jacket?+

A blurb sells a stranger in a shop and can withhold. A logline sells a professional in ten seconds and cannot. It names a protagonist with one defining descriptor, the incident that starts things, the concrete goal and the force opposing it, in one sentence under fifty words. If a reader asks and then what, the goal is missing.

Does it plot my story or fix the draft for me?+

No. These are pitch artefacts for a story you have already written. It works from what you tell it, in your order and your ending, and it will not invent a stronger third act to make the pitch sound better. If the summary you give it has a hole, it names the hole rather than filling it.

Should the synopsis give away the ending?+

The one page synopsis does, always. Agents and commissioners read it to check the story lands, and a withheld ending reads as a manuscript that does not have one. The one paragraph version and the query pitch stop before the ending, because those are doing a different job: getting someone to open the pages.

Which AI tools does this work with?+

Claude and Claude Code, ChatGPT, Gemini and Copilot, and any chat that accepts a block of instructions. Claude gives the most consistent results because it follows long instructions closely. Nothing to install and no account beyond the AI you already use.
