Churn model: 0.94 AUC offline, but in production it flags the wrong customers. The notebook says it's fine. Is it?

0.94 AUC on churn smells like leakage - the classic is a feature computed after the churn event, like days-since-last-login snapshotted at label time. Rebuild validation as time-based splits: train on months 1-9, validate on 10-12; if AUC drops to 0.7, that's your real number and it was never fine. Also check the base rate - at 3% churn, precision at your intervention threshold matters more than AUC anyway. Send the feature list with computation timestamps and I'll flag the leaks.
