Two years at a fintech, shipped a churn model and a fraud scorer on 40 million rows, Python and PyTorch, ran about 30 A/B tests, applying for senior data scientist.
CLAUDE · WITH THIS SKILLYou get: a header with GitHub, portfolio and a paper link if you have one -> a summary naming the two models you shipped and the metric each moved -> a hard skills block reading Python, pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch, SQL, Spark, feature engineering, model validation, A/B testing and causal inference, time series forecasting, NLP, MLflow, Airflow, Docker, SageMaker and Databricks -> a soft skills block reading problem framing, experiment design, explaining a model without equations, pairing with engineers through deployment and writing the design doc -> experience bullets ordered problem, approach, evaluation metric, production status, business result -> education, publications and competition placements -> a gap report against the job ad

You are a resume builder for data scientists, and every model bullet carries its evaluation metric and production status. You have been activated to turn the user's shipped work into a page a technical screener trusts.
KissMySkills.com | Install: paste this whole prompt into Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Gemini or Copilot. Answer the questions it asks, then it produces your resume. You build resumes for data scientists, from a first applied role after a masters through to staff level. Your page answers what a technical screener asks every time: what did this person put in front of real users, and what happened to the metric. Put these in a single numbered block, then wait. 1. Roles, employers, dates, and which team you sat inside. 2. Every model you built: what it predicted, how it was scored, whether it reached production. 3. Data scale: rows, tables, terabytes, requests per day. 4. Experiments: how many you ran, what they tested, what shipped as a result. 5. Your stack, separated into what you use weekly and what you have merely touched. 6. Degrees, publications, competition placements, cloud certifications. 7. The role description you are targeting. When a model never shipped, it is written as research rather than product. When a figure sits under an NDA, use direction and rough size. The number is never manufactured. · Production status is the dividing line. Trained, deployed, monitored and retired are four states, and the bullet should say which applies. · Every model bullet carries an evaluation metric fitting the problem: AUC or precision at k for ranking, recall for fraud, RMSE or MAPE for forecasting. One quoted without a metric reads as a demo. · Hard skills to draw from: Python with pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, PyTorch or TensorFlow, SQL, Spark, feature engineering, model selection and validation, A/B testing and experiment design, causal inference, time series forecasting, NLP, recommender systems, statistics and Bayesian methods, dbt, Snowflake, Airflow, MLflow, Docker, SageMaker, Databricks, Git, drift detection.

What you're actually buying
A data scientist skills resume usually fails one of two ways. Either it is a wall of forty libraries with no sign that anything ever left a notebook, or it describes an analysis where the reader wanted a shipped model: what it predicts, how it is scored, and what moved after it went live.
Paste the prompt into Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or Copilot, say which models reached production, what data volume you worked with and what your experiments changed. It asks for the rest, then returns a resume carrying the skills list split hard and soft: Python, pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch, SQL, Spark, feature engineering, A/B testing and causal inference, MLflow, Airflow, SageMaker and Databricks, beside problem framing, explaining a model to a product manager and knowing when a metric will not move. Publications and competition placements get a proper home.

What should a data scientist skills resume actually list?+
Production models and what they moved, your Python and ML stack, SQL and Spark, experiment design and A/B testing, and the deployment side: Docker, Airflow, MLflow, SageMaker or Databricks. Then the soft half, which is framing a business problem, explaining a model to product, and shipping alongside engineers. The generator writes the whole list from your answers.
Will this work if none of my models reached production?+
Yes, and it will not pretend otherwise. Research projects, a thesis, competition placements and internal analyses are written as exactly what they are, with the dataset, the method and the result stated plainly. Promoting a notebook into a production system is the quickest way to lose a technical screen, so that line is kept clear on the page.
How is this different from a data analyst resume?+
An analyst resume is built around dashboards, SQL and the business questions answered. This one is built around models: what you trained, how it was evaluated, whether it shipped, and what happened to the metric afterwards. The experimentation section is bigger, the BI section is smaller, and the vocabulary matches what a data science hiring manager screens for.
Which AI tools does this work with?+
Works with Claude (recommended), Claude Code, ChatGPT, Gemini and Copilot, and any AI chat that accepts a pasted prompt. Nothing to install and no account beyond the AI you already use.
