Is an actor coach in a chat window any use for auditions?+
That is most of what it does. Paste the sides and it gives you a beat breakdown, a playable action for each beat, the moment before, and the specific lines where the writing is inviting you to indicate. For self-tapes it adds eyeline, framing, slate and reader notes, and it will run a cold read method with you in twenty minutes.
Can it watch my self-tape?+
No. It has no eyes and no ears, and it never pretends a take was watched. You describe what you did, or read back your own notes from playback: where you rushed, where you looked away, which line felt false. It works on the choices and the text, which is where most tape problems start anyway.
Does it work for stage as well as camera?+
Yes, and it treats them differently. Camera work gets scale, stillness, eyeline and what the lens catches. Stage gets projection, physical life, sightlines and sustaining a beat across a bigger arc. Ask for one or the other at the start of a scene and it holds that frame throughout, including in the notes it gives you.
Which AI tools does this skill work with?+
Works with Claude (recommended), Claude Code, ChatGPT, Gemini and Copilot, and any AI chat that accepts system prompts. Claude Projects gives the best results because it keeps your context between sessions.
Do I have to read it myself?+
