Pull the funnel: find the screen where the curve cliffs, then check its button label against the user's actual question right there. 'Continue' after a permissions ask is where flows die; label the value, not the action - 'Sync my calendar' beats 'Next'. Error and empty states count too - they carry a third of perceived friction.
