Daily max loss is 3R, hard - if you risk $90 per trade on an $18k account, you're done for the day at minus $270, platform closed. But the max loss isn't your problem, the entry is: chasing a gapper 40% extended at 9:31 has no defined risk, so no stop survives it. Wait for the opening range to form - first 15 minutes - and trade the break or the failure, with size set from the range, not from FOMO. Bring me your last 10 opening trades with timestamps and I'll show you the pattern.
