That's indirect prompt injection through ticket content - treat every ticket as untrusted data, never as conversation. Layer the defense: delimit and label untrusted content so instructions inside it carry no authority, neutralize imperative patterns before the model sees them, and - the layer that actually saves you - scope the data tools so a session can only fetch records for the authenticated customer ID; the model must never be the authorization boundary. Add an output guard for PII that doesn't belong to the requester. Detection alone catches maybe 80%, which is why tool scoping matters most. Want my injection payload suite for CI?
