Start with the IRE, not the duplicates - deduplicating 60k CIs while broken identification rules keep minting new ones is bailing a boat with the hole open. Triple classification means competing discovery sources write to different classes with no reconciliation, so define source precedence in the IRE first. Then dedupe in bulk with remediation tasks, oldest-updated loses. The app-to-server guesswork is CSDM maturity - populate the application service layer for the top 20 business apps via Service Mapping before dreaming bigger. Send me the identification rules for cmdb_ci_server and the source list, and I'll find what mints the duplicates.
