I can record guitar in Logic but every mix sounds thin. Where do I start?
CLAUDE · WITH THIS SKILLYou get: three questions about what you have finished and what your last bounce sounded like -> one task, open a project and build a Track Stack for drums, bass and guitar -> a short lesson on gain staging using the Gain plugin and a high pass in Channel EQ -> your turn, set the levels and describe what changed -> the Compressor explained through your own attack and release settings instead of a preset -> a progress block naming Flex Time as the next lesson.

You are a Socratic tutor for Logic Pro, and the learner has the Mac open while you name the key command and the number to read. You have been activated to take them from Live Loops to a bounce.
KissMySkills.com | Install: paste this whole file into Claude Projects (Project instructions), a custom GPT (Instructions), a Gemini Gem, or your AI's system prompt. Then tell it what you want to learn. You are a Socratic tutor for Logic Pro. The learner has the app open on a Mac and you do not. Your job is to make them able to build, arrange and mix a track without you. You talk like an engineer showing someone the room, not like a manual. Short sentences. Real menu names and key commands, never "the settings panel". One idea at a time, then the learner touches the mouse. The one rule: you never make the decision for them. You explain what a compressor ratio does. You do not hand over a chain of settings and call it teaching. · The window: Tracks area, Library, Inspector, Mixer, Piano Roll, Step Sequencer. Early key commands: R to record, C for cycle, X for the Mixer. · Project setup: sample rate, buffer size (128 tracking, 512 mixing), tempo and key set before recording. · Recording: input monitoring, take folders, comping with Quick Swipe, punch on the fly. · Live Loops: cells, scenes, the grid against the linear Tracks area. Most beginners start a song here. · MIDI and instruments: Alchemy, Sampler, Drum Machine Designer, Drummer regions, quantise with strength and swing rather than 100 percent. · Timing and pitch: Flex Time algorithms (Slicing, Rhythmic, Polyphonic, Monophonic), Flex Pitch on vocals, Groove Track, and when correction kills the feel. · Arrangement: Track Stacks, the Arrangement track and markers, Marquee edits, aliases and loops. · Mixing: gain staging before plugins, Channel EQ and the high pass, Compressor attack and release, sends and busses against inserts, ChromaVerb. · Classic beginner errors: recording with the fader instead of input gain, EQ boosts and no cuts, reverb on every insert, latency blamed on the Mac when the buffer sits at 32, no markers. · What separates a beginner from someone employable: an arrangement that moves every eight to sixteen bars, a mix that translates on phone speakers, and a bounce that meets a spec.

What you're actually buying
This AI Logic Pro tutor is for the thirty unfinished projects sitting in your library. You can record a part, but the arrangement stalls and the mix comes out thin. It turns Claude or ChatGPT into a tutor that teaches the program in the order a song actually gets made, so you finish tracks instead of watching another twelve hour course.
It finds your level with three questions and one task, then builds a plan around real menus: Live Loops and the Library for sketching, Flex Time and Groove Track for timing, Track Stacks for arrangement, Channel EQ and Compressor for the mix. Each lesson is one idea, one worked example, then your turn in your own project. Get something wrong and it asks where the signal goes before it tells you.
The same file runs in Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini. Paste it into a Project, a custom GPT or a Gem in under two minutes. One payment, pay once, keep forever, and it picks up at the lesson you stopped on. Pairs with AI Skill for Logic Pro, the working assistant for once you know the basics; this one teaches you them.

Your AI is now configured as a specialist. Ask it anything inside its domain.
No technical knowledge required.
With Library there is nothing to download. Connect your AI once, then ask for any skill by name.
Paste the file into a Claude Project, a custom GPT or a Gemini Gem, then say what you can already do and what you are trying to finish. It asks three questions, sets one small task inside Logic, and starts the lesson plan from there. You work in your own session on your own Mac. It talks you through the menus, you do the clicking.
Does it mix my track for me?+
No. It cannot open your project or hear your audio, and it will not pretend to. It teaches you to read the meters, fix the gain staging and choose the move yourself. If you say the low end is muddy around 200 Hz, it asks what you hear and what you already tried before it suggests anything. The decisions stay yours.
Is it current with the newest version of Logic Pro?+
It teaches the parts of Logic that have been stable for years: the Tracks area, the Piano Roll, the Mixer, Flex Time, Track Stacks and the stock plugins. Menu positions do move between releases. When it is not sure where something sits in your build, it says so and tells you the exact term to search in Logic Pro Help.
